ACB9

Historically the ACB9 was developed as a Formula Ford 1600 tyre. Now currently being used for historic championships such as pre 1974 historic Formula Ford cars and pre 1965 historic 1000cc Formula 3. It can also be used in small bore vintage applications such as MG midgets, frog eyed sprites etc.

The recently developed 6.0/25.5-15 tyre allows historic racing saloons, such as Porsche 911s, to go racing with an aesthetically appropriate historic tyre where supply of alternative products may not be available.

We offer a limited compound availability to ensure suitability for historic applications.

  • A25 Formula Ford specification available only in 5.0/22.0-13 (spec – 7267) and 6.5/23.0-13 (spec – 7290). These are the only specifications to carry the ‘FF’ designation on the sidewall
  • A37 Pre 1965 Historic F3 1000cc specification 5.0/22.0-13 (spec – 7660) and 6.5/23.0-13 (spec – 7661) which can also be used for light weight sprint and historic hillclimb applications.
  • A29 hard compound ideal for racing school use where wear rate is of primary importance.
  • 4S60 hard historic compound only available for 6.0/25.5-15.
